SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1,2015 POSTCRESCENT.COM THE POST-CRESCENT, APPLETON-FOX CITIES, WIS. 9C Arbinger, Carol (nee Sowinski) Redmann, Eugene Edward Elliott, Martha Lou Martha Lou Elliott, age 88, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 30, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. The memorial service for Martha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 4, 2015, at FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 724 East South River Street, with Rev.

Stephen Savides officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. She fought a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving companion and best friend Keith Miller by her side.

Carol was a kind and generous woman whose fife revolved around her family. A devoted daughter to her parents Al and Helen Sowinski, a loving and caring mother to her sons Don (Liz) and Matt Arbinger, and a dear friend to her brother Rick (Shelley) Sowinski. Carol is survived by her grandchildren Katelyn and Brayden, nephew and niece Griffin and Natalie Sowinski (great nephew Noah), her aunt Lorraine Sowinski and cousins Bob (Mary) Sowinski, Mary-ann (Dale) Guenther, Sue (Doug) Engel, Marge Ord-way and Jerry Sowinski. She also leaves behind Greg Arbinger, the entire Arbinger family, and the many friends she made during her 27 year career 831-9905 Hale, Shirley J. Age 87, of Royalton, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Crossroads in Waupaca.

He was born on June 22, 1928 in the Town of Royal-ton, son of the late Edward and Myrtle (Poehlman) Redmann. Eugene was raised on the family farm in the Town of Royalton. He drove truck for various companies for over 35 years, lastly with Schneider National in the Tanker Division. He enjoyed model airplanes, model trains, and also enjoyed flying his ultra light. Eugene was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is survived by a son Eugene Phillip (Tracy) Redmann, New London; 5 grandchildren: Taren Redmann and special friend Ben), Tyler (Crystal) Redmann, Lindsay (Jake) Buttles, Paige Redmann, Travis Redmann; also 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Carol (Frank) Sek, McHenry, IL; Valeria (James) Johnston, Wis- CLINE-HANSON FUNERAL Weyanwega I'll ncliiiiisonl Kolosso, Daniel Butch Kolosso, age 71 of Appleton, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on July 25, 1944 in Appleton, to the late Daniel Sr. and Margaret (Boreson) Kolosso. Butch was an offset pressman for 20 years with a printing company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Butch is survived by his loving daughters Sara (Greg Brockman) Wara and Colleen (Dan) Le-kie; grandchildren Cul-len Brockman and Sierra Lekie; step-grandson Ethan Brockman; sisters and brothers: Judy (Llew) Krause, Bette Handel (Jeff) Ogden, Richard (Carol) Kolosso, Diane (Doug) Verri-er, Mark (Teri) Kolosso, Joe (Kelly) Kolosso, Mary Martin, and Ken (Marta) Kolosso; and former spouse and friend Mary Riley. PIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 West Marquette Street in WICHMANN 920 nerii Shirley Jane Hale, age 87 of Appleton, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Kimberly Assisted Living Facility.

She was born November 7, 1927, in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Paul and Irene (Bartman) Mod-erson. Shirley attended area schools and graduated from Kimberly High School. On May 4, 1957, Shirley married Donald Hale. Donald preceded Shirley in death on August 12, 2003. Shirley worked in the healthcare field for many years, working in area nursing homes.

She loved animals and being outdoors, as well as gardening and bird watching. Anyone who knew Shirley knew of her love for the color Shirley is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Bobby) Horn of Red Oak, TX; son, Virgil (Barbara) Hale of Darboy; and grandchildren, Lauren Wilz of Oregon and Drew Wilz of Appleton. She is further survived by her brother, Ron (Jan) Moderson of Menasha; sister, Marlene Van Roy of Kimberly; sister-in- 920 733 2211 consin Rapids. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gloria.

A memorial service for Eugene will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Alfred Ellison officiating. Terry was born July 16, 1957 to Leonard and Carol (Meyer) Kunstman of Kimberly. She was an adventurous soul who loved to read and to travel and who viewed life with an artist's eye and a mischievous grin.

Terry was a manager for the Fol-lett Corporation at several locations spanning nearly 35 years. She cared deeply for her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving parents, her sisters Christine (Joseph) Coffey, Menomonee Falls; Deborah (David) Casper, Combined Locks; Becky Kuehl, Milwaukee; and Lori (William) Vander Pas, Erin; nieces Amy (Timothy) Vander Hyden, Combined Locks; and Andrea Vander Niemuth, Rand A. Niemuth, age 70, of Menasha, passed away after a short illness on October 24, 2015. On August 28, 1945, Rand was born in Shawano to the late Lester and Betty (Dieck) Niemuth.

The day after he graduated high school, he entered the United States Marines and served two ac tive tours in Viet Nam. When Rand returned to Wisconsin, he worked several jobs before working at Ariens in Bril-lion retiring in 2011 after 17 years of employment. He enjoyed spending time with his family, making everyone laugh being the life of the party. Roome, Kaukauna, age 101, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Atrium Post-Acute Care of Little Chute. She was born July 11, 1914 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Leo and Barbara (Hallada) Regenfuss. Marie was a 1933 Kaukauna High School Graduate. In 1936 she married LaVerne C. Roome, he preceded her in death on February 16, 1983.

She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, volunteering in the Queen of Peace Choir, serving funeral dinners, and hospitality greetings; her church was important to her. Marie was also an avid volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul and the environmental center. She is survived by her son, Jack (Mariko) Roome, Alexandria, VA; 2 daughters: Carolyn Gritt, Kaukauna and Shirley Cordes, Riverside, CA; 6 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Moder, age 81, of Appleton, passea away on Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born on August 26, 1934 in Hor-tonville to the late Rock and Beatrice (McGlin) Moder. She attended Hor-tonville High School. Lola was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Appleton and also was a part of the Phoebe Circle. She was first employed with the Hortonville Toy Factory and later worked for Hortonville Canning Company, Anchor Foods and Mark's East Side.

Lola also cleaned homes for many years. For nearly twenty years Lola was a volunteer at the Outagamie Food Services at Randall Court. During her time there she was awarded many certificates of appreciation and the Good Neighbor award. Lola greatest passion in life was traveling; she simply loved seeing new places. One of her favorite places to visit was Door County.

She along with her friends and family would try to make the trip at least once a year. She is survived by her four sisters, Rose (Marvin) Besaw, Kay Delzer, Gerry (Ron) Hoier and Pat Hen-rickson and her brother, Lloyd (Gladys) Moder. Lola is further survived by her dear friend, Susan Weiss U0HC1IMANN Thomas "Tom" Edward Sample, age 59, of Potter, formerly of Wrightstown and Appleton, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on November 9, 1955 in Apple-ton, son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Lindauer) Sample. He was a graduate of Appleton West High School, class of 1974.

Tom served our country in the United States Marine Corp Ship to Shore mission in Vietnam from 1974 until his honorable discharge in 1976. He married Janet Holup on October 6, 1990 in Aniwa, Wisconsin. The couple just celebrated 25 years together. Tom continued his education at Fox Valley Tech in their Automotive Department. He owned and operated Sample Vending since 1996.

Tom enjoyed rebuilding vintage Mercury boat motors, cars, and boats. He especially loved his family. Tom is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janet of Potter; their son: Ryan of Potter; siblings: Jeanette 'Wietinfl Brillion Reedsville www.wieting-funeralhome.com (Q) CyTWU.O 739-1231.
